The Red Zoom! (Don't ask where they got the name ;)
I can't tell you how excited I am that Jalon is finally in scouts! I've enjoyed reading blog posts for my nephews and friend's sons for several years now all of whom enjoying this boyhood right of passage but on December 2nd Jalon was at last able to participate in his first ever pine wood derby! Yay!!! His was a "space" derby so they designed and carved their own rocket ships. I can't tell you how much he enjoyed this... and Weston too. They ran several races with Jalon's coming in second just about everytime. Darn it! Oh well, better luck next time little buddy!
